Cedar Waxwing Feeding Young

Cedar waxwings are a gregarious bird that usually travel in fairly large groups. They migrate into our region in the late spring and stay the summer. The two waxwings featured here include a mother feeding its youngster a black raspberry from one of the many berry patches in our yard.
