Barn Swallow in Flight

Photographers are well aware of the aerial speed and rapid maneuvers that mark the beauty of Barn Swallows in flight. I was fortunate to capture this barn swallow at the nadir of its wing beat, just as it passed into the focal plane of my camera lens. It was another learning moment for me that, if I spend enough time photographing a subject, I will capture a unique perspective on it.
