The Hawaiian islands are one of my favorite destinations for photography. Each island has multiple climatic zones, including tropical rain forests. The Hawaiian islands provide an incredible source of flora for a macro photographer, and while most species of plant and flower have been transported to the islands by humans over the years, there are many arboretums which have been established by residents to showcase both indigenous and "transplanted" flora.
