Autumn in Shenandoah National Park

I had a rare opportunity to witness some amazing cloud formations during a stormy autumn afternoon in Shenandoah National Park. Normally, the autumn foliage is center stage in a landscape photo. However, with the deep and layered clouds above, it made for an unusually dramatic combination in this compelling autumn scene. This is one of my favorite autumn photos in Shenandoah National Park.
